Luxury sportscar brand Ferrari opens an exciting new theme park, the first of its kind in the world

We know that sportscars don’t have much to do with the boating world but we thought that Ferrari’s new theme park on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island was worth a mention, particularly for all you thrill seekers.

Ferrari World that officially opened its gates to the public on November 4, covers a whopping 2.2 million square foot and features 20 Ferrari-themed rides, including the world’s fastest rollercoaster (that reaches speeds of 150mph) a 4D fantasy simulator ride Speed of Magic and the dizzying G Force ride.

More than just a theme park, it’s an all-round experience that introduces visitors to the fast-paced, passionate world of Ferrari, as well as providing Italian delicacies, shopping and live shows. What’s more you don’t need to worry about queuing for rides in the sweltering Abu Dhabi heat as the entire park is indoors, built under a signature red Ferrari bonnet.
