Durrat Marina is set to become Bahrein’s yachting hot spot. Amongst the first agreements to be announced at the recent Bahrain International Boat Show was between Durrat Marina and ART Marine. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) making ART Marine, advisors for the development, management, and operations of Durrat Marina.
The agreement confirms that Durrat Marina, one of the region’s leading marina lifestyle developments, will provide marina services that meet the highest international standards.
The signing took place on an ART Marine luxury yacht during the opening night of the Boat Show. According to Waleed Saffy, CEO of Durrat Marina, “Durrat Marina is intending to deliver on a new vision for a marina-based luxury development. Our project centers on the provision of a lively and distinctive area for water-based activities, and our marina development is at the very core of this. The marina will be able to berth over 400 boats ranging from 10m to 70m mega yachts. Clients will be able to enjoy a range of facilities and activities such as water sports, boat maintenance and servicing, service hangars, and dry boat parking, amongst others. Our MOU with ART Marine is to ensure that every step of the marina’s management and operations meets the highest international standards for operations and marina management.”
Durrat Marina brings together cosmopolitan living with a laid back yet vibrant lifestyle. Phase one of marina’s new developments will feature an exclusive set of seafront facing villas, with up to four rooms, luxury serviced apartments, residential apartment blocks, a dedicated Yacht Club in close proximity to the marina, and a promenade with cafes and retail outlets.
