Henri Lloyd’s New Shockwave Collection

British institution Henri Lloyd never fails to deliver on smart looking, technical outerwear for the boating world. And they’ve just released a new and improved modular system of protective foul weather clothing, the Shockwave Range.

The new collection is designed to be adapted for a wide range of sailing requirements and provides comfort and high protection from the most fierce of elements out at sea.

Each Shockwave garment has internal pockets in critical areas to allow the incorporation of various Deck-Armour mesh inserts. These flexible and highly breathable mesh panels provide impact protection at the knee, seat and stomach areas.

Now for the technical stuff: the internal side of the fabric features various sized 3D micro-beads grafted onto the fabric that keep the garment away from the

body’s surface thus promoting airflow, reducing wind profiling, increasing breathability and also helping to protect the inside of the fabric from abrasion.

The Shockwave range includes waterproof jackets and smocks in a range of colours and sizes for both men and women. We reckon it’s a must-have item for the active boater’s wardrobe this season.
