When it comes to marine electronics, Raymarine has got the goods. Their G-series navigation system is already one of the most advanced in the world and the new version is even more powerful thanks to new V4 software, which offers an all new user interface and faster performance.
The new home screen features a customizable menu of applications and icons that make it easy for first-time users to navigate. The G-series V4 also brings together a powerful GPM400 processor and Navionics TurboView™ technology to give you total immersion in the multidimensional world of Navionics Platinum™ sailing charts. You can zoom and pan with amazing speed and navigate your favourite destinations in 3D.
Other new features include T-series thermal night vision cameras which enable you to see even better at night aboard your yacht and you can also create a powerful G-Series network with HybridTouch E-Series Widescreen displays mounted at remote locations. The animated tides and currents display is also new and improved along with the Anti-Collision Alarm, SIRIUS Weather support and a new radio application that can tune in over 130 channels of digital satellite entertainment onboard.
If you’re into fishing, the system also offers a Bird Mode radar tracking device to enable you to identify seabirds on the horizon (wherever there are birds, there’s a school of fish below).
That’s a lot of functions for one boat gadget. It’ll keep you occupied for hours.
