Forget scuba diving, ride the waters like a dolphin aboard the Seabob, an innovative underwater propulsion device

Ever wished you could swim like a dolphin? Well now you can with a little help from the Seabob. The new-fangled machine is a cross between a jet ski and a body board and enables you to ride the waves like a fish with a motor and dive down underwater too.

Developed by German company Cayago, the Seabob features an electric motor powered by Li-Ion accumulators that can reach speeds of up to 20 Km/h. The batteries last for an hour underwater and will recharge in six to 12 hours. There’s also an LCD screen that displays engine power, water temperature, depth gauge and battery life.

Safe for you and the kids, the Seabob is easy to drive and steer and all safety precautions have been carefully considered – the engine has been programmed to stop working when the device goes below a depth of 2.5 metres underwater.
