There are waterproof cameras and there are all round boat proof cameras and SeaLife’s Mini II Dive and Sport is definitely the latter, perfectly suited to your wildest boating escapades. This little point and shoot camera is waterproof to 130 feet, rubber armoured for a strong grip and shockproof tested up to 6 foot (2 metres) so it will survive being dropped on deck or even overboard.
Its compact size, large wide-spread controls and Easy Setup on-screen guide all make the camera easy to use on land, the boat or underwater. The rubber case is also crush resistant – there’s even a video on the brand’s website showing the camera being run over by a car just to prove how durable it really is.
A special underwater mode removes the blue hue and the SPY setting allows the camera to take continuous pictures at set time intervals so you can better capture those difficult photo opportunities. It can also record VGA quality videos. When the time comes to take those beautiful panoramic shots of the coastline, you can add the optional wide angle lens which increases the shooting angle by 33 percent as well as taking close up pictures to within 1 foot.
The camera also comes with the SeaLife Digital Pro Flash to add vibrancy and light to your snaps. It’s perfect for boaters, SCUBA divers, snorkelers, paddlers and any intrepid adventurers.
