Williams’ Diesel-powered RIB Boats to Debut at Cannes Boat Show

RIB fans should definitely hit up the Cannes or Southampton Boat Shows in September to catch sight of Williams’ slick new diesel-powered inflatable boat, the Dieseljet 565. The new model, set to be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Cannes Boat Show, will be the second in the company’s new collection of inflatable boats that comprise of four diesel-powered RIBs ranging from 14ft 9in (4.54m) to 20ft 5in (6.25m). They reach top speeds of 36 knots.

Jet-RIB specialists Williams already released the Turbojet 505D boat last year, one of the world’s lightest and most compact diesel-powered jet-RIBs. And the 445 and 625 (the company’s largest boat to date) will be unveiled towards the end of this year.

This new range of RIBs will not only catch the eye of luxury yacht owners in the market for a slick new tender (that not only look goods but conveniently runs on the same fuel) but they’re also an attractive first boat for novices looking to test the waters.
